I resolved this by…buying another Sonicwall and creating the tunnel from there 🤣 problem solved. Seems like it is just not possible doing what I was trying to do.

I have and it just doesn't work. If I run a ping or tracert from site A to the 3rd party subnet it doesn't leave site A. I have tried all manner of NAT rules, policies and routes and cannot get it to work.

thanks for your response. They said I need to find a fix for the public IPs not listening but I cannot find a solution. For reasons I cannot explain, I cannot get traffic to pass from Site A via Site B to the 3rd party firewall over the existing Site to Site VPN. If for instance I run a ping from Site A to the 3rd party…

that is true 🤣

there are 'post connection scripts' under users > clients tab. You might be able to work some magic from there but unlikely.

I can only recommend you lock down using the Geo IP as much as possible. Even blocking Russia and China has reduced ours by about 90% 😅

hi, thanks for your response. Our DHCP server is also located on the same subnet as X0. After some back and forth it turns out the issue was at the ESXi virtual switch security level. sharing in case it is helpful for others. NetExtender generates a virtual MAC address which means that some systems may perceive this as a…

thanks for the info. We are actually running -49sv in production but it shows as up to date on My Sonicwall (despite -50sv being available). I will just wait till the next update unless there is a compelling reason to move to -50sv. thanks

Still waiting on the "updated KB" - not seen any change thanks

thank you for testing.

Hi, I already have this running/working in a production environment however I think the account we are using has too many privileges so trying to minimise what is in use. This has been highlighted in a security review but have struggled to find any official information on the subject. thanks

Sorry, by no logon required I meant for the Microsoft Store - it will harass the user for a microsoft account but it can be bypassed. To the other response - Yes I am aware that Sonicwall Mobile Connect is no longer supported but it does work if people need it in a pinch like this situation.

We are having the same issue as the OP on Windows 10 October update using NetExtender 10.2.331 Edit: You can still connect using Sonicwall Mobile Connect via the Windows Store (if your users have access - no login required though). I hope that is helpful to some.

We updated to this in December and have had problems. On a few occasions the system has become inaccessible and had to manually power it off. We have also noticed than when this happens the event logs stops for about 12 hours prior so no idea what's happened and has not errors. When we contacted Sonicwall they said "add…

To answer my own question...Users can bypass the message and connect anyway however some found it to be unstable until updated. Sonicwall MobileConnect also did not work for most users - frequent disconnects. Had to revert Windows 10 users back to using the full NetExtender client. Also worth mentioning that Internet…
